Turn a voicemail into sound wave art (and a Christmas gift they can play)
Quick answer: voicemail sound wave art turns a saved voicemail into a print of its sound wave, with names, a date and a QR code that plays the voice when scanned. At Kemuva it's $19 (or $29 with a photo and poem), with a preview in about 24 hours. It's a Christmas gift they can see and hear.

How to save a voicemail before you lose it
On iPhone
- Open the Phone app and tap Voicemail.
- Tap the message, then tap the Share button.
- Choose Save to Files, or send it to yourself by email or message.
Apple explains the steps in Check voicemail on iPhone.
On Android
It depends on your phone and carrier. In most visual voicemail apps, open the message and look for Save, Export or Share in the menu. Save it to your phone or send it to yourself.
On an old phone or a landline
If there is no way to export it, play the voicemail on speaker in a quiet room and record it with another phone's voice memo app. Hold the recording phone close to the speaker. It works better than most people expect, and we clean up what we can.
Which recording to choose
- A parent's or grandparent's voice: a "call me back, love you" message is often the one people treasure most.
- Wedding vows or a toast from the reception.
- A baby's heartbeat from an ultrasound, or a first laugh.
- A pet's bark or purr, for the pet lover in the family.
Short is best: 3 to 15 seconds makes the clearest wave. Tell us the start and end time you want in the notes.
What it looks like
A clean sound wave of the recording, your names or a short line, the date, and a QR code. Scan it with any phone camera and the voice plays.

FAQs
How long does the QR code keep working?
We keep your audio hosted for at least 5 years while we offer the QR feature. If you ever ask us to delete it, we do, and the code stops playing.
Can I use a WhatsApp voice message?
Yes. Open the chat, press and hold the voice message, tap Forward or Share and save it to your phone or email it to yourself. Then upload that file.
What if the recording is poor quality?
Send it anyway. We clean it up as much as the recording allows, and you see a preview before anything is final. The sound wave itself always looks clean, even if the audio has some noise.
Can I gift it if I live in another country?
Yes. It's a digital file, so nothing is shipped. Add a gift note and choose a delivery date when you upload, and we email it to them from Kemuva.
Will it arrive before Christmas?
Order by December 21 for a preview before Christmas with time for your round of revisions. Last orders for a preview before Christmas are December 23.
